The 2019 Honda Ridgeline is a midsize pickup truck which is a great option for drivers who want a heavy duty lifter while also desiring a sporty feel on the roads. The car drives smoothly, as no shudders or shakes are heard in the Ridgeline's highly compact, unibody frame. Many riders say the car performs closer to a midsized four-door, and less like your average truck. Its all-purpose appeal results in the Ridgeline as a top choice in its class, and is constantly outranking its competitors in both performance and comfort.
In a car that already provided exceptional towing ability and performance for its class, large changes were not needed for this model year. However, the Ridgeline features a couple nice changes from previous model years. The Ridgeline now includes a second USB port below the dashboard. Also, the RTL and RTL-T models now add a moonroof and a power sliding rear window.
All five trims for the Ridgeline feature a unit-body construction which provides a safer and more compact ride. The RT trim, which starts at 29,990 MSRP, features a dual action tailgate. The RTS, starting at $33,390, includes fog lights and tri-zone automatic climate control. The RTL trim upgrades to a leather trimmed interior with heated front seats with a MSRP of $34,870. It also includes 7 different exterior colors to choose from. The RTL-T, starting at $37,000, features a display touch screen with satellite navigation and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. Lastly, the RTL-E model, with a MSRP of $41,370, features an industry-first truck bed audio system, a blind spot information system, and a 540-watt premium audio system.
The five different trims for the Ridgeline all come powered by a V-6 engine which produces 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. The Eco-Assist system allows the V6 to earn up to 19 miles per gallon in the city and 26 mpg on the highways for 22 mpg combined. The Ridgeline features up to 5,000 pounds of towing capacity and 1,580 of payload capacity while maintaining a quiet and modern road feel.
The Honda Ridgeline many safety features include Lane Keeping Assist System with Lane Departure Warning, Collision Mitigation Braking Systemâ„¢ with Forward Collision Warning, Honda LaneWatch, and Blind-Spot Information System (BSI) with Cross Traffic Monitor. The 2019 Honda Ridgeline a very safe pickup truck that is not only affordable but built to sustain its quality for years to come.
