Notable Features

Available in six trims - LX, EX, SE, EX-L, Touring and Touring Elite - the Odyssey offers a number of different features designed to meet the needs of drivers. For 2017, the model is virtually unchanged aside from the addition of an optional acoustically treated windshield on SE and EX-L models.

The base LX trim is equipped with rear privacy glass, Bluetooth, dual-zone A/C, 17-inch steel wheels and a 7-speaker audio system. SE models add satellite radio, a 115-volt power outlet, a rear seat entertainment system and vacuum cleaner.

Move up to the EX-L and you'll enjoy a sunroof, chilled storage box, power liftgate, leather seats and heated front seats. The Touring tacks on retractable third-row sunshades, 18-inch alloy wheels, navigation, foglights and a fold-down third-row seat armrest.

The range-topping Touring Elite is standard with the aforementioned vacuum, an upgraded entertainment system, a 12-speaker sound system, xenon headlights, HD radio and select safety features.

One Fuel-Efficient Engine

All versions of the 2017 Honda Odyssey in Phoenix come with a 3.5L V6, generating 248 horsepower and 250 lb.-ft. of torque. Mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, the engine propels the minivan from 0 to 60 mph in 8.0 seconds. It also helps support the Odyssey's EPA-estimated 27 mpg highway and 19 city fuel economy ratings.

Safety Advantages

A number of safety features are offered on the latest Odyssey. Everything from blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning and emergency brake assist to a tire pressure monitoring system, anti-lock brakes and airbags can be found on models. Additional technologies noted in 2017 Honda Odyssey reviews include a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors and a remote anti-theft alarm system.
