What's New For the 2020 Honda CR-V?

The 2020 Honda CR-V has the Honda Sensing safety suite that's now standard. It also has a refreshed exterior design with a few tweaks. Beyond the new features, the Honda CR-V still boasts excellent fuel economy, a comfortable ride, a roomy cabin and lots of cargo space. Which Features are Available for 2020?

The 2020 Honda CR-V has two rows and seats five. There is cloth upholstery as a standard and available leather upholstery. There are also power-adjustable and heated seats in the front. You have the option of a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel. You also have the option of a faux wood accent if you choose one of the higher trims. There is a generous amount of legroom, and the seats are both comfortable and supportive. For child car seats, the 2020 Honda CR-V has two sets of LATCH connectors in the rear. It also has a tether and an anchor in the rear middle seat.

There is an infotainment display that's 5 inches as a standard. Other standard features include a USB port, Bluetooth and four stereo speakers. Available features include a larger 7-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless device charging, a navigation system, satellite radio, extra USB ports, HD radio and a moonroof. There's also the option of a stereo with either six, eight, or nine speakers. Standard are buttons located on the steering wheel that allows you to control certain functions. With 39.2 cubic feet, there is plenty of cargo space in the 2020 Honda CR-V. You can fold down the rear seats, which extends the cargo space to 75.8, which is remarkable.

Great Power and Fuel Economy

2020 Honda CR-VThe 2020 Honda CR-V offers different powertrain options. A turbocharged four-cylinder 1.5-liter engine is standard and has 190 horsepower with 179 pound-feet of torque. There's also a continuously variable automatic transmission as a standard. There is a good amount of power, especially for the turbocharged engine, which enables great crossover acceleration. The gas mileage is exceptional and includes 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg when on the highway. The models that have all-wheel-drive are slightly lower at 27/32 mpg city/highway. The 2020 Honda CR-V has great suspension, which makes for a comfortable ride.

2020 Honda CR-VSafety features include automatic high-beam headlights, a rearview camera, road departure warning lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, and adaptive cruise control. Receiving five out of five stars from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the 2020 Honda CR-V is clearly top-notch in the area of safety. This was an overall rating, and the same number of stars was received for the side and frontal crash tests.
