Honda Racing Corporation has a legendary motorsport heritage, with a history of competing in series like IndyCar and Formula One. At the 2025 SEMA Show, HRC introduced Formula R, a high-performance full synthetic motor oil developed in partnership with Phillips 66. This oil is formulated to deliver superior thermal stability and wear protection, using race-proven technology. Formula R will soon be available at Honda and Acura dealerships across the country.
Formula R is formulated for drivers who enjoy spirited performance, making it well-suited for models such as the Honda Civic Type R and Acura Integra Type S. HRC will offer this oil in six viscosity grades, so it can accommodate a wide range of vehicles. All versions meet or exceed API SP and GF-7A certification standards, which means they are fully compatible with Honda and Acura service programs.
