2022 Honda Pilot

The Honda Pilot is considered a top three-row SUV, and it has historically stood out as a top choice in its class. Even though it is a fan favorite without changes, the 2022 Honda Pilot has some notable updates inside and out. The Pilot now has a standard infotainment system with a clear display screen and the convenience of standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. On the outside, the Honda Pilot also adds LED headlights that make the SUV more visible and give it a touch of rugged design. The Pilot also has a roomy cabin and a smooth, relaxing ride quality even when you're traversing trails and tackling unpredictable terrain.

New for 2022 is an automatic upgrade for the base trim level, which is called the LX. The LX previously had a five-inch display screen, but the base model has an eight-inch display instead for 2022. The infotainment system also now adds Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which were previously only included on the top trims. The interior of the Honda Pilot is just as spacious as before, and there are many storage spots to hold your belongings of all sizes. The Honda has three rows of seats that can fit seven to eight people. It also has a sound system with seven speakers. A keyless ignition system is added starting with the second trim level, and it also has three-zone climate control. The second trim, called the EX, also gains heated front seats, and the driver's seat can adjust with the press of a button. The second trim adds some additional safety aids. A few more standard features come with the third trim, the EX-L, including a sunroof and a power liftgate. The back row also gets some upgrades with USB ports and sunshades. The SE edition gets a hands-free liftgate and wireless charging, and the Touring adds navigation and roof rails. The top Honda trim is the Elite, which has leather upholstery, captain's chairs, and ventilated front seats.

The 2022 Honda Pilot uses a 3.5L V6 engine for power, giving the SUV a power output of 280 HP and over 260 LB-FT in torque. The standard transmission is a nine-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain for the Pilot on most trims except the top two, which have standard all-wheel drive. You can get all-wheel drive for the other trims. The Pilot tows up to 5,000 pounds with all-wheel drive.
