A hot new festival is coming to Phoenix later this month, giving Mexican food fanatics a lot to “taco-bout.” If you love Mexican street-style tacos, you’ll definitely want to check out the first-ever Tacolandia, happening at Margaret T. Hance Park on Jan. 28, 2017.

Tacolandia is a celebration of all things taco, bringing together 30 of the Valley’s top taquerias for one giant, zesty fiesta. Some of the participating restaurants include Barrio Café, Tacos Chiwas and Presidio Cocina Mexicana. While this will be the first Tacolandia held here in Phoenix, the multi-city festival has been held in various locations like Houston and Denver, drawing in thousands of taco lovers.

Admission to the inaugural festival gets you unlimited taco samples, so come hungry and ready to munch. It’s a great way to find your new taco Tuesday hangout and try some truly unique local cuisine. There will also be live music and entertainment—such as mariachi bands and ballet folklorico—and a cash bar for guests to enjoy.

Tacolandia has been known to sell out in other cities, so be sure to purchase your tickets online now. Additional information on this exciting new local event can be found on the Phoenix New Times website.
