For 25 years, ZooLights has been adding a little bit of sparkle and a whole lot of cheer to winter nights here in the Valley. Attracting over 300,000 Arizonians each year, this local holiday tradition is also one of the zoo's largest fundraisers. Be sure to mark your calendars and get your tickets online now, because this festive glow show only runs until Jan. 8, 2017.

When the gates open daily at 5:30 p.m., the zoo transforms into a spectacular winter wonderland. Decorated with colorful lights as well as hundreds of moving displays and a lakeside music-in-motion show, there is no shortage of magical sights to marvel at. Visitors of all ages will have a great time spotting their favorite animals made out of twinkling lights and admiring the three-story tall Christmas tree.

While most of the animals are in bed and asleep by nighttime, there are a few exhibits with low lighting that visitors can walk through. Jengo the Talking Giraffe and Tortuga the talking tortoise will also be available for children to interact with. Additionally, some of the zoo's food stands will be open, so if you or your little ones get hungry, there will be several refreshments for purchase, including hot cocoa.

To purchase your tickets ahead of time, visit the Phoenix Zoo’s website. Have a holly, jolly holiday season!
