What's New for the 2023 Honda Odyssey?

The vehicle will likely be similar to past iterations of this model, but the rumor is that the Magic Glide will be in this one. That means that the second row will have a chair that slides, making it much easier to navigate the back of the car. This comes in handy when you need to put 6 children back there, for example. There may be some upgrades to the ability to fold some chairs as well.

2023 Odyssey Trims and Features

There should be around five trims, but the exact nature of them is not yet known. There should be an option for both an ICE and a hybrid vehicle. It's uncertain whether either of these options will look any different from one another, but they certainly may not.

The EX model will likely have CarPlay and Android Auto.

You'll get a hands-free Power Liftgate for one of the trims as well.

Some of the technologies for the interior will likely include some USB ports 2.0 inside the vehicle for connecting divides. There should be a touchscreen system display, and there will likely also be a movie camera in the vehicle called CabinWatch. This allows people in the front of the vehicle to keep an eye on what's going on in the back. There's also an intercom system for communicating with people in the back, which you can do through speakers or even through headphones with WiFi.

2023 Honda Odyssey Horsepower

All trims of the upcoming Honda Odyssey will utilize Honda's V6 engine that produces 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque! This setup is paired up to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Honda Odyssey Safety

The Odyssey, in general, is known as a safe vehicle, and the speculation is that quite a few systems will be in this vehicle. This will include at least the rear crossing traffic system for backing up safely and the blind spot system monitor. This makes it so that you get an alert if a vehicle enters your blind spot on the van so that you can act accordingly. It's likely that even more safety systems will be available, however, including possibly the auto emergency braking systems and various other driver assists.
