What's New For the 2019 Honda Accord?
The 2019 Honda Accord offers some of the great features from the redesign of the 2018 model. Honda still offers the hybrid model for 2019.

Which Accord Trims are Available for 2019?
The Accord comes with the standard Honda trims. They are the following: LX, EX, EX-L, Touring, and Sport. Standard on all trims is the 1.5-liter turbo engine. For the upper trim levels of EX-L, Touring, and Sport, there is an upgrade to a 2.0-liter engine.
The Touring trim's features include: a head-up display, heated and ventilated front seats and rear seats, a wireless phone charger, Near Field Communication for compatible Android devices, Wi-Fi hotspot, automatic LED headlights and fog lights, interior ambient lighting, a traffic sign recognition system, a 10-speaker premium audio system, an 8.0-inch touchscreen with navigation with Honda Sensing included for driver safety.
High Performance Combined with Good Fuel Economy
The 1.5-liter turbo-four engine has 192 horsepower. An upgrade to the larger 2.0-liter turbo-four engine increases horsepower to 252. The 2.0 has a ten-speed automatic transmission, while the 1.5-liter base engine has a CVT transmission. Opting for the hybrid will net you 212 horsepower that gets excellent gas mileage. The Sport trim Accords have an optional 6-speed manual transmission available. Gas mileage will range from a high of around 47 mpg for the hybrid to a low of 22 city and 32 highway for the 2.0-liter non-hybrid version.
The Honda Accord has an Abundance of Safety Features in the Standard Honda Sensing Package
Every new Honda Accord comes with the Honda Sensing package which includes driver assistance features that increase safety behind the wheel. These features include Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Road Departure Mitigation System, and Collision Mitigation Braking System. The Accord is equipped with cameras and sensors that alert you to possible imminent dangers while you are driving. The settings can be adjusted to your driving style either to be more sensitive or slightly less sensitive.
Adaptive Cruise Control is a very interesting feature of the Honda Sensing package. You can set a certain distance to follow behind the vehicles in front of you and it will not turn off if you step on the brake. It will brake automatically if that distance is breached or if it detects the vehicle ahead of you abruptly braking. It also has a feature called Low-Speed Follow which can be used in heavier traffic at speeds below 25 mph. Of course, at any time you can turn off the Adaptive Cruise Control or switch to regular Cruise Control. There are also settings for the distance to follow vehicles in front of you.
