School Programs

Casa Center operates several programs for school-aged children ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Social and Emotional Learning

Casa Center's popular program called Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is specially adapted for children in kindergarten through eighth grade. This program teaches positive social change and empathy through music, art, videos, and books.

Positive Outcome With Every Relationship (POWER)

This program, designed for children from 6th to 12th grade, helps students learn what constitutes an unhealthy relationship compared to a healthy one. Students learn how to identify abusive situations and get help if they are faced with an abusive situation. Over 80,000 students have participated in the program.

No More Secrets

The "Kids Talk" program is a 60-minute course taught once each year in local Phoenix schools. The course, which is geared towards children from preschool to 6th grade, addresses the warning signs of abusive relationships and behavior at home and in other settings, including school.

Community Program

Along with programs for children, Casa Center also has community programs with workshops and seminars offered through its Resource and Training Center. The Center's workshops give community leaders, managers, and administrators the tools and training required to develop leadership skills, succeed in business, make positive life changes, and decrease violence in their communities.
