
October is the month to face your fears— or scream and run away from them! Arizona is home to some of the top haunted houses in the country, most of them right here in the Phoenix metro area. Check out our list of five frightfully fun attractions below.
13th Floor Haunted House - 2814 W Bell Road, Phoenix
13th Floor is relatively new, but it has quickly gained recognition as one of the best haunted houses in Phoenix. With two walkthroughs and over 60,000 square feet of pure terror to endure, this one isn’t for the faint of heart! Open select dates now through Nov. 12th, the 13th Floor will bring alive zombies, maniacal beasts and monsters you never wanted to know existed.
AZ Field of Screams - 5726 N 75th Ave, Glendale
The cornfields are alive with the sound of screaming at this spooky maze. Planted over an old cemetery, you’ll notice right away that there’s something a little off about this field. Enter AZ Field of Screams through Oct. 31 – if you dare!
Fear Farm - 2209 N 99th Ave, Phoenix
This one is a favorite among Phoenix adrenaline junkies, and for good reason! Fear Farm is always adding new frights to be terrorized by. New this year is a haunted hayride, the only one of its kind in Phoenix. Check out the hayride and the other five ghoulish attractions now through Nov. 5th.
Extinction Live Action Haunted House - 2915 E Washington St #101, Phoenix
Do you think you have what it takes to survive a zombie apocalypse? At Extinction Live Action Haunted House, your survival skills will be put to the test against a pack of zombies and monsters. From now until Oct. 31, you and five friends can fight to stay alive—hopefully, you’ll all “survive” the extinction.
The Crypt - 1445 W Southern Ave, Mesa
The Crypt is one Arizona’s longest running haunted houses and a spooky staple of Mesa. If you’re willing to make the trek, you won’t be disappointed! Whether you opt to explore the Crypt, the Asylum, the Chaos maze or all three, you’re sure to have an exhilarating experience you won’t soon forget! This one is also rated as a good choice for beginners.
